I am Roshni am a filmmaker, I have been passionate about film making ever since I was a school goer which led me to join the drama club and pursue acting from a very young age it is this passion that inspired my creative self To pursue a bachelors degree in media and advertising from Wilson college Mumbai India thereafter I enrolled into the masters in film making course at the university of creative arts in Farnham Surrey.
Production design horns up many aspects of my creative abilities and so I seem to be deeply interested in the same I would say that production design is one of the most important aspects in filmmaking it’s also an obvious professional platform so as to feed my creative satisfaction.
I work as a production designer I help people with the visual concept of a film, TV or theatre production Identify a design style for sets call my locations, graphics, props, lighting, camera angles and costume while working closely with the directors and producers.
Skills
- Working knowledge of visual arts and production processes and theories.
- Sketching, ability to communicate ideas verbally through drawings and models.
- Ability to be adaptable, resourceful and have a knack to resolve unpleasant issues or clichés.
- Ability to plan schedule monitor progress across a large project.
- Knowledge of the essence of teamwork, value of time and communication with peers.
- Ability to create and produce short films which has given me an insight of the Know how walking of the industry.
